So...linguistics isn't exactly something I sit around and think about, but it's so cool! Linguistics is the study of language, and I'm taking Intro to Linguistics this semester. I've only read the first chapter of our book, so I may be singing a different tune in a month. : ) But seriously, we're going to be learning about how humans develop and learn language and all the aspects this from forming sounds to the differences in dialects. Talk about cool!

So...I miss Longview. I miss my family. I miss my friends. And I looked at the calendar today and got really depressed. There's only one weekend between now and Spring Break that I'll be able to go. I just want to spend time, you know? Sigh.
